It looks like you've used the pencil rool or the blob brush for most of the illustration though, so it's hard to see if you've used the pen tool except for a couple places. This assignment is particularly important to get the pen tool down, so if you can add back some of the textures in the face and neck using that tool that would be good to get credit for that! We'll be playing around with awesome ways to use the pencil tool, too - so don't worry! You'll have way more chances to use some of the more "natural" tools in the mix!<br />Also - if you could resize this, it'd be way easier to see the detail in the image! I love the original piece, so go ahead and upload it to flickr at 500px and it should be way easier to see everything you did.Lindsay Nohlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04503573080124863945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5750046476777125323.post-54821521592163799132011-09-09T11:41:06.285-07:002011-09-09T11:41:06.285-07:00I love how you kept the style like the original, a...I love how you kept the style like the original, at least thats what it looks like to me. It isnt as clean as the other but in a way that kind of what i like about it. I think the hand could use some work and the shirt a bit, too, because they don't seem to share the same texturey almost grungy-ness that the hair and face do, but I think this is a really great first attempt!mayahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12447028114622358944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5750046476777125323.post-80460603109727998842011-09-09T11:19:27.004-07:002011-09-09T11:19:27.004-07:00This is hard to tell if it is done with the pen to...This is hard to tell if it is done with the pen tool or not, it looks more jagged.
