maya's christmas patterns
I ended up actually making two large patterns and one small one. I still need to reformat this to match the pattern presentation Lindsay showed us earlier, which I will do soon!

Sam Aburime - Silent Hill 2: The Movie
Project for Digital Illustration. Utilized all of the tools we've learned so far and included textures for more depth and effect.
This one was a lot of fun too! The Silent Hill series has some of my favorite games, so this was a treat. I also feel that I'm catching on quicker as I work; learned a lot with this one.

maya's monsters!
So unfortunately I saved the monsters I was working on last class to the wrong place and I lost them, but I have a screen shot I saved of one of the monsters (although this means I couldn't work on it any more) and another monster that I made after class to make sure I had something to show!

This is my monster from homework! There are two textures in her dress and two in the background! I used the brush for the swirl in the hair and mouth and arms

This is the one from class that I wasn't able to finish due to saving issues. There is a texture in his body and gradients in the hair, eyes, and horn. (that wasn't the assignment, but I just thought I would mention it!)
