This is the final monster poster. I used the clipping mask, bitmaps, pentools and I even messed around with the brushes and textures. I did a quick line drawing in Photoshop, then copied and pasted it into Illustrator and did a live trace.
Here's an in process screenshot. I edited out the hair.
