  1. I love love loveee how you did this.
I think the textures you used are great, and I really like the design in general
It's a little hard to see his legs and feet with the brown BG color
maybe if you made it a gradient, or darker it would be easier to see.

  2. I adore this design! This is such a foreboding figure. He does look rather like he is floating, though - those legs just disappear! - but depending on your intentions, this could be good or bad? This has a very stylized feeling that I enjoy and I can so see this in some sort of animation! Very creepy!

  3. I really love how you did the shadow of the bird monster. How did you do it? The legs are bit hard to see and could probably be fixed with a different color. Great work!

  5. Very cool. The setting you made makes him really damn creepy! I mean that in the best possible way.

  6. great textures all around, and i really like the lighting effect you've achieved. the legs kindof blend in though, since they are of similar saturation and value as the surrounding space. maybe that's okay though. perhaps a thin shadow where the feet touch the ground would provide a little more of a visual contrast from the ground

  7. I love all of your textures. You definitely know how to add a mood to your piece using color. I love how you added the shine of the moon onto the ground as a light source. It makes the piece have more contrast instead of being all dark.

  8. i love the brush texture around the moon - especially since you're bringing it into other places within the space. The cloud shapes are really interesting, too - i like how it breaks up the large space there while keeping with the textures that you're using elsewhere. you did a great job creating the form out of the textures that you made - I love the fuzziness of his body. The shape you made to contain that fuzziness fits perfectly. I also like that youre using a striped texture for the legs, it feels very scaly and bird like. It could be cool to see how you would add some more interference textures to the ground under him ? Maybe there is another brush similar to the moon that could help bring some larger textural (more organic) spots to that ground? A d if you really wanted to go crazy- it could be really neat for you to hit the back of his body with a reflective light every now and again from the moon that's behind him - with a brush. Nice work.
