It looks like you're getting the hang of the pen tool - and the brushes! Now, it would be great to see what you could do with clipping some of the textures to your shapes! I like how you're adding textures to the brown lines - that is a cool texture. See what would happen if you clipping masked it to that shape! I could also see you adding a couple other textured areas to the pants - maybe subtle-ly, since they're so slim. Is this a briefcase, business man monster? I'd love to hear how you came up with this guy. I could also see you adding a couple things in the background with textures if you wanted to keep this guy a little more simple!
