  1. My favourite part of this whole thing is how you drew his face and the dirt...sand stuff that hits it. That is awesome. The bold lines work really well with this photo/the way you edited the photo and the crazy colours are awesome too.

    WAY TO GO BRO.

  2. Waaa! This is so awesome! I agree with Linda, how you have the alien's face digging into the dirt is so perfect.
Your colors play together awesomely too! I love the color change you did in the background and the symbol on the pyramid. Everything just works so well together.
    :D

  3. This is really great the alien meshes so well with the crashing ground its a splendid job. the coloring works really well for me and i love the detail of his space ship in the back, the drawing is very nice and simple but works perfectly with the photograph its not overly graphic which seems to fight too much with the life like imagery.

  4. I like all three of the images you posted! It is really fun how you brought up the whole sci fi feel to the pyramids. I'm guessing that this is based off of the theories of the aliens helping humans build it? nice work!

  5. This is hilarious. Great use of color, line and photo manipulation. My only critique that may make the piece better is to give the sand pieces that are in the air some shadows and maybe look at the opacity of the smoke but that's just my opinion.

    Great piece!

  6. This is awesome. I like how you drew the alien crashing into the sand and how you created a smoke effects using different opacity levels. I also like how you created a neon glow effect for the sky, but it appears a little too saturated. Maybe lighten the colors a bit.

  7. lol I love the guy's face. Maybe do some speed lines from the space ship. The weird sky makes it look like an alien pyramid. I love the narrative, like he tagged the pyramid and crashes trying to get away.

  8. I think this is a lot like Jesse's where he incorporates more cartoon-y aspects into a photographic scene and it somehow works together. Having his face crash into the dirt is essential to making this work and I'm glad you also used it with the spaceship. Changing the color of the sky was also a smart move to make them blend together more and make it seem more surreal. With the symbol on the pyramid, there's an effect called bevel/emboss (double-click on the symbol's layer) that can help make it look like the symbol was carved into the pyramid. :)

  9. Nice job here man, your alien is awesome. His gesture and how he is crashing into that sand is really great. There is just asmall thing I was thinking may help your piece over all. I would just bring down the saturation on everything. You have everything there I would just mess first with levels then saturation. Just like mess around with it see what happens.

  10. Choosing a very color saturated image works well here, as does using drawn elements in multiple places. I also like that you integrated the alien's green by using green in the sky, but I wish the pyramids didn't have a blue halo around them. I think you could easily mask the sky to have the green go right up to the pyramids.
