One thing I'd do is maybe add some red and yellow to the flame coming out of the rocket. Maybe some rings around a planet or two would be cool as well.
Love all the textures you are using! The outer glow on the planets and the stars is really nice. THe only thing I would look at is the Smoke/fire at the end of the rocket...its a little boxy looking..
I love your play with textures and the "scribble" for the smoke from the rocket. It looks like the planets were pushed a bit more in their depth, maybe ad some shadow/highlight to the rocket to make it feel more prominent.
i like the textures that you chose for the plants and the rocket. i would suggest that maybe working on the rocket more, rendering it a bit more so it isnt flat image. also maybe having a direct light source to have more depth and that would make the composition more interesting.
I love the textural pieces you've added here -it really helps create depth in your piece. I think you could play with the tone of the glows that are coming from each of the planets -- that could be really cool of you made the glows a hot color that is similar to the planet shapes themselves, or maybe it's a lighter version of that color. I think it would also be cool to see what a blue / purple glow might look like added to the edges of your rocket to help turn it in space, too!
I love the texture of the background as well and could see you adding a nebula- style gradient mesh in some places if you wanted to vary some of the space back there and make it look even deeper!
I love the textures here!

I really like what you did with the textures here! I think the planets look nice and the colors work well together : )
ReplyDeleteI think if you made the rocket fins a bit lighter it would help. It took me a minute to notice them
I enjoy this vintage look a lot! This is a really nice take on the assignment! This also looks like it could be made into a nice pattern!
ReplyDeleteReally like all the textures you used, I think the contrast could be stronger, it would make the lighting stronger

ReplyDeleteOver all good job!

ReplyDeleteThe textures and colors work really well in this. I am confused by the light, maybe make the play more obvious?
