  1. This is super cool! I am not entirely certain how this relates to plague, but I really love the imagery. I think the photoshopping becomes a little blatant in the way you desaturated/lightened the texture that is under the face, but I think just a little more tweaking could fix that. Same with the texture.

  2. I really like the concept of placing this on a wall, however it's hard to focus on the illustration because the scene is so much larger. even just a crop in to include only one of the doorways would help draw attention to the illustration.

  3. As you progressed it is nice to see the small amount of detail you added with the spray paint aesthetic. Interesting application of your illustration, i like the change.

  4. This is a super cool image. I would love to see what you could do with the color change on this, too! It's nice as a striking black image, but would be great to see this if you could play with how the "paint" would react with the wall if it were a vibrant color of spray paint! Since we were working with black line work that was supposed to be colored -- it's hard for me to see how you'd do it! but, I think you could definitely do this easily!

I also think that would help it relate to plague more - maybe there is something creepy you can do in the colors of her face that make you think "plague" a little more == or maybe there are some well-placed drips or sprays that make you think that her face is cracking, or dripping - so it seems ultra moody. That would definitely help. It would be cool to see what you could do to get that feeling!

  5. I think it's super awesome how you did this, it looks so real! I think the idea of plague needs to be pushed a bit more though: making your colors look more dreary, maybe a dead body laying against the building or blood smeared on the wall or something.

  6. I really like what you did to the drawing by incorporating it with a photo! I am a little confused about the plague part. Ladies?
